Zazie Beetz, born in 1991 Born in 1991, she was raised in Berlin. Born in Germany, Berlin. Her mother is a South African-American Social Worker from New York. She graduated from the same high school with Jennifer Aniston. Beetz continued in her French education at Skidmore College, after graduating LaGuardia. After college she immediately auditioned for the role as Van at Atlanta. Beetz, whose parents were an German dad and an African American mom from Berlin, was raised by her parents in New York and spoke German and English. Zazie was a performer in her youth, and has worked in many community theatres. Zendaya achieves an iconic Disney Channel breakthrough role Zendaya has a great dance talent. She was finally cast in her debut role of Rocky Blue, along with co-star Bella Thorne, on the famous program Shake It Up. Zendaya was 11 when she went vegetarian after seeing a slaughterhouse while on an excursion with her father. She told PEOPLE, "I thought it was horrible, seeing all the animals being stuffed and in a cage waiting to be killed. It was shocking to think that's the way I'd been getting my meat!" The woman has since adhered to a vegan diet.
