Her birth date is 29 March 1985 in Roswell in New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza is her birthname. Gerina Stevenson, who is the Mexican child of Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson was birthed in Mexico. Stevenson is American and is of Mexican American heritage. From the time she was a kid, she's always had a strong determination to be involved in athletics. Gerina started playing golf at the age of 15. Gerina has graduated from Goddard High School. She was the winner of the state championship golf tournament in New Mexico. She also had her volleyball skills recognised at a national stage. At the age of 2003, she enrolled at the University of Texas. In her senior year, she won each tournament that was entered. While in her university career, she was awarded Conference USA individual champion player of the year and UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.

I was a gruelling 12 hour days cleaning floors and tearing down wallpaper with one child strapped on my back and the others crawling inside the playpen. Ha! It was all starting to form, but there was still a long way to go. For furnishing the space would be a huge effort both in time and money. Also, I had go to my favorite stores. In order to keep my budget intact, I went with three of my boys to look for bargains in estate sales. The weekly ritual was that we would walk through estate and garage sales on Saturdays and Thursdays, purchasing a mix of antique and brand new furniture.
